Expand your skills, knowledge, and confidence at St John of God Midland Public & Private Hospitals a Registrar (General Surgery), commencing in February 2019 for a twelve (12) month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for Registrars looking to gain experience within a hospital that offers great training, allowing doctors to work closely with consultants and learn from the best.

The Requirements 

  • A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
  • Graduate of an Australian Medical Council (AMC) accredited Medical School or equivalent.
  • Eligible for registration as a medical practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • A minimum of 2 years clinical experience as a RMO with critical care or surgical experience
  • Proven highly developed interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrates verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate clinical and procedural experience commensurate with clinical responsibilities of Registrar.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Demonstrate a record of professional behaviour (certificate of good standing)
  • Promote a positive safety culture.
