About the Opportunity
Join a team in promoting a brand new surgical device in the specialised area of Glaucoma. The product was launched in February 2018 and the national team is already expanding by an additional 3 heads totalling 9 nationally. You will work with Glaucoma specialists and surgeons. Walk them through the journey and educate them on products that will take them to a new area that they will have not operated in previously. With exceptional clinical data and results, your products will be received with excitement and interest. You will contribute to your patients’ lives immensely.
Duties
- Build solid relationships with key clinicians and surgeons in your specialist area
- Confidently talk through clinical data and written papers to support the features and benefits of your product
- Assist in seeking suitable patients to under-go the procedure
- Attend cases and provide clinical support during the operation
- Your role will adapt through both hunting and farming
- Drive sales and market share for your product
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary Education
- Proven track record in working with Medical Device sales with an implantable surgical device
- Ability to work confidently with clinical papers
- Extensive experience working in the operating theatre environment
- Sound knowledge of how to navigate a new product through a hospital
- Be truly passionate about adding quality to the lives of your patients
- Be able to adopt a resilient and patient working style and work consultatively with your customers
