Experienced EEN to work for a busy multi-site general practice in Rockhampton that prides itself on being up to date with best practice standards and strives to achieve optimal patient outcomes at all times.

A sound knowledge of vaccinations both NIP and travel, solid base knowledge of wound care and dressing selection, as well as being proficient in chronic disease management. Genuine care and compassion for our clientele, confidence in being a patient advocate, a good team player who is also able to work independently when required is a must.

Duties include:

Support Practitioners as and when required.  Triage and Assessment. Comply  with all relevant legislation, regulations and professional standards.   Assist               reception with assessments.  Conform to all Workplace Health and Safety requirements.  Provide regularly, proof of your current licence as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with the Queensland Nursing Council. 

 You will be expected to participate in team problem solving   exercises, attend staff meetings and be pro-active in     maintenance of the premises, all equipment, stationery and records. 

Confidentiality: Strictly maintain patient and Practice confidentiality.

Treatment Room: Co-ordinate smooth flow of patients.  

Infection Control:  Maintain and document where appropriate the sterilization procedures.                       Clean treatment areas as per current Policy and Procedures,  maintain current procedures for disposal of contaminated waste, sharps and linens. 

Vaccinations:  Perform vaccinations as directed by Practitioners.  Maintain register of                               vaccinations.  Maintain Procedures for cold chain and vaccine usage.   Maintain stocks of vaccines.
