Position Summary
We are looking for passionate Registered Nurse to join us in the Sub-Acute Unit at Wonthaggi hospital. We are a dynamic, supportive and hardworking team delivering quality sub-acute care to rehabilitation, Geriatric Evaluation Management (GEM) patients and Palliative Care patients.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Registered Nurse holding a current practicing certificate with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
- Experience in Sub-Acute nursing
- ALS certified (or working towards same)
- Effective time-management
- High standard of documentation
- Competent medication administration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent patient assessment skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Able to a work rotating roster is essential
- Current Police & Working with Children Checks
