Established for over 50 years, TriCare is one of Queensland’s largest private owners and managers of retirement communities and aged care residences.
TriCare’s Mermaid Beach Aged Care Residence, our modern 81 bed facility on the Gold Coast Highway, is recruiting for a permanent part time Experienced Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
The role in this contemporary facility gives you the opportunity to work a three day roster on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings. Payment of penalty rates is applicable according to the Nurses Award 2010.
You will be the team leader on every shift and will work with your personal care team of enrolled nurses and personal care workers to deliver a high standard of care to our residents. You will report to the Clinical Manager – Carolyn Kilgour.
Your skills, experience and attributes include the following:-
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Registered nurse in an aged care environment
- Knowledge in ACFI and its associated documentation
- Specialty nursing skills (advantageous)
- Experience with use of electronic clinical management systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work weekend shifts.
