If you’re considering taking the next step in your professional career path with the Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA), this role will include being recognised as a clinical expert; providing supervision, coaching and mentoring of less experienced team members across a range of areas; and developing, implementing and coordinating complex service plans and strategies for our clients, their families and carers.

 

This is an exciting career opportunity for a dynamic, proactive professional wanting to become an integral member of a close-knit multi-disciplinary team. The team provides services to clients in the Dubbo region. It is a fulltime position and you will be required to travel within the central west of NSW

 

Our therapy services are based around a client and family-centred philosophy, which emphasises a collaborative approach, working towards achieving the goals identified by young people and adults with cerebral palsy or similar disabilities and their own support network. The successful candidate will possess strong professional and ethical values that align with this philosophy.

What will you bring to the role? 

  • a relevant university degree in physiotherapy
  • current AHPRA registration
  • a good understanding of the rights of people with a disability
  • a commitment to making a difference in individuals’ lives
  • the capacity to work independently and as part of a team
  • current driver’s licence
  • the ability to travel within the central west region of NSW
  • Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain upon joining
  • Working with Working with Children Check
  • First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain within 3 months of joining.
