The Company:

My Client an established and reputable Not for Profit Aged Care Provider who specialise in Allied Health services to both the Community through their Health and Wellness Centre and also their aged care sectors has a fantastic opportunity for a part time Dietitian to join their organisation across a three-day working week – 45 hour fortnight. They are renowned for the delivery of exceptional Aged Care treatments to a diverse client base.

  
About the Position:

• Managing caseloads to include:

  

• o Nutrition support
• o Weight loss
• o Swallowing
• o Speech
• o Residents who have dementia, Parkinson’s and stroke
• o Weight maintenance
• o Dietary requirements
• o Diabetes

Selection Criteria:

• Tertiary qualifications in dietetics
• Demonstrated ability to apply evidence-based practice and dietetic knowledge to resident management
• Flexibility and adaptability to work both autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team
• Effective time management skills
• Possess a high level of interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience as a Dietitian
• Experienced in working with eating disorders in older patients

  
This opportunity is offered as a permanent – part time position across a 3-day working week – 45 hour fortnight based in CBD Canberra ACT.
