Hepburn Health Service is seeking a Dentist to join the team.

This position responsible for the provision of clinical duties within the scope of publicly funded dental services and within their scope of practice. You will confer with senior clinical staff for more complex clinical presentations and ensure appropriate referral of patients for complex clinical presentations.

Key Selection Criteria

• Registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Dentist.
• Demonstrate knowledge of contemporary clinical dentistry with infection control compliance and knowledge.
• Demonstrate developing knowledge and understanding of dental public health principles.
• Experience in the review of, and continuous improvement in, quality clinical care.
• Strong knowledge of safety and compliance guidelines within a health service setting.
• Experience in a public health sector environment with a commitment to a positive patient/customer service experience.
• Understanding of public health philosophy and commitment to population health and oral health promotion.
• Experience in working with a variety of tasks in a fast paced environment with results achieved within designated timeframes with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork skills with a motivation for ongoing relevant continuing professional development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal with people from all facets of the community.
• Experience in using a patient management system eg. Titanium.
