Director of Nursing / Facility Manager ||
Residential Aged Care (RN)

Experienced and people focused Facility Manager for a purpose built facility in NW Sydney.

Join an organisation that provides residential. Their assisted care facility, offers accommodation and services for 75+residents, including a dementia-specific and secured unit.

Reporting to the GM, The Facility Manager provides leadership and management to all the functions within the aged care facility to ensure high standards of daily living comfort and clinical care to meet the needs of our residents.  This position is responsible for building employee engagement and performance, leading learning and development planning aligned to organisational strategy, leading clinical standards and practice, ensuring compliance and accreditation, leading continuous improvement practices, and managing the financial performance of the facility.

This position requires an Aged Care Innovator who can drive change and and has a vision for the future of the home.

To be considered for this role, you will need to  have:  

• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Registered Nurse with full registration.
• Sound financial and budgeting skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in ACFI
• Manage time efficiently
• Demonstrated knowledge of accreditation standards and understanding of continuous improvement.
• Superior communication skills both written and verbal.
• Highly organised and an ability to use and set up systems
• Experience in managing/mentoring care staff and success in managing change.
• Current APHRA Registration.
