The Clinical Education Unit (CEU) is responsible for clinical education governance at Austin Health and is fundamental to achieving Austin Health’s Vision. The CEU is uniquely structured to support all interprofessional areas of Allied Health, Medicine and Nursing.  The unit’s integrated and innovative approach to education and training ensures that Austin Health has highly skilled staff that is reflected in the quality of care to our patients.   The CEU also overseas key services including the operations of a dedicated education precinct, Simulation Centre as well as the highly renowned Health Sciences Library.

An exciting opportunity currently exists to join our Clinical Education Unit as the CEU's Administration Officer

The Clinical Education Unit (CEU) Administration Officer is an integral and central role in providing proficient administrative support for the CEU.  This role works very closely with the department’s medical, nursing and allied health educators, simulation centre and learning technology team.

You might be who we are looking for if you have demonstrated experience in:

  • Educational program and general administration, reporting and records management
  • Supporting the operations of education precinct facilities, including frontline support and advice for key stakeholders
  • Support for educational systems including Meeting Room Manager, Learning Management System, Placeright as well as  the CEU’s intranet and internet sites
  • Coordination and support for orientation, on boarding and compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements
  • Coordination of key educational events including graduation and award ceremonies, educational forums and conferences
  • Supporting financial administration and coordinating office and equipment inventory
