The Role
The Senior Dental Assistant enjoys a senior level of responsibility within the clinic and is tasked with ensuring patient experience is smooth and stress free by providing the Prosthodontist with excellence in chairside assisting and outstanding patient care. The role forms a vital link between valued clients, the treatment team and admin staff, upholding and modelling the highest possible standards to meet client's needs.
Duties include (not limited to):
- Setting up and closing of surgeries
- Chair-side assisting the Prosthodontist(s)
- Understanding and discussing patient treatment plans
- Sterilisation - adhering to strict infection control protocols
- Maintaining accurate patient records and details using Macpractice
- Excellence in patient service
About You
It is anticipated you will be proven within the dental sector as a Senior Dental Assistant with a genuine desire to continue to build upon a career within the Dental industry. Previous prosthodontic/implant experience and confidence in understanding and explaining detailed treatment plans and sequencing are key elements to success in this position. A quality focus and accuracy will underpin all that you do and you will be unwavering in your commitment to delivering excellence in service for patients and the team.
