About the business and the role
We are a Medical Specialist Centre. We are a private non bulk-billing service and patients are seen by appointments only. We are committed to providing the highest quality care to our patients in the western suburbs. We have ample onsite parking. Public transport is at our door step.
We are seeking a full time, experienced Medical Administrator/Medical receptionist who will be responsible for the running of our practice. There is scope for promotion to Practice Manager position.
Job tasks and responsibilities
* Ability to demonstrate leadership and team work
* Staff management, training and roster
* Support staffs in all aspects of their roles to ensure staffs provide the highest level of care to our patients
* High level of communication and interpersonal skills
* Committed to patient care
* Efficient time management
* Maintaining financial record and reporting directly to the Director
* Stock control/order
* Assisting with reception work when required
Personal attributes
Honesty, integrity, punctuality and excellent time management
Skills and experience
* Previous experience within a medical environment is essential. Please don't apply if you have no previous experience.
* Knowledge of the computer software Genie and Eclipse is a must
* Sound computer knowledge including Microsoft Office
* Experience with theatre booking for our in-house surgeons
