Our client is a NFP provider of Community Services and Residential Aged Care. We are seeking a Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional to lead and coordinate a suite of specialist services for clients receiving care under community programs or who are in residential aged care. The delivery service is under a consultancy model. Your knowledge in the community and aged care sectors are critical to the success of this role. The successful candidate will be a forward-thinking professional who will remain up to date with funding streams and aware of any developments within the sectors.
Specialist services include; Nursing, Case Management and Allied Health Professionals. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective coordination along with the management of continuous development and training of the specialist team. You will be guided by the organisational values which include promoting diversity, supporting the independence and capability of clients and their families, respect and decency in society, and high principles and ethical conduct.
You will ensure departmental adherence to human resource legislation; quality guidelines and best practice principles to drive workforce management decisions and practices. In conjunction with People and Culture you will be required to forecast and plan to build capacity allowing the business to grow and thrive.
Manager Profile:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Nursing, Allied Health, Health Management
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Experience leading a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated experience in leading small to medium teams
- Experience in commercial health sector
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills
