About Us and the Job

We are a group of young professionals, and we have just taken over Acland Court Pharmacy & Acland Street Pharmacy, located in St Kilda, Melbourne, on the famous multicultural and bustling Acland street.

Both of our pharmacies are currently undergoing major brand changes, with:

Acland Court Pharmacy - Converting to a FLAGSHIP Priceline Pharmacy

Acland Street Pharmacy - Converting to a Healthsave Pharmacy 

We are dedicated to keep growing, expanding, to introducing positive changes to the local community and we are looking for PROACTIVE & HARDWORKING part time and full time pharmacists to join our team. Duties and Responsibilities (flexibility preferred)

Your primary responsibility is to ensure all ethical requirements are met, while remaining accessible to staff for professional guidance and counselling. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Developing relationships with local allied health-care professionals;
• Educate staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention and the proper use of medicines
• Delivering and offering 6CPA services and incentives;
• Overseeing day-to-day operations;
• Forward dispensing;
• Managing DAA, ORT & Webster packs;
• Stock management

Skills & Experiences

• Previous experience in a community pharmacy (mandatory); 
• Previous experience in a retail and health-centered pharmacy;
• Ability to work well under pressure;
• Experienced with clinical interventions, Meds-Checks, blood pressure and BSL monitoring, and keeping up with Medicare and NDSS claims;
• Certificate in vaccination is a bonus.

To be successful in this position your will have a current APHRA Pharmacy registration and PDL insurance. The pharmacies trade 7 days a week from 9am to 9pm hence would require you to be flexible with the roster. We also welcome newly registered pharmacists who are up for the challenge. Ongoing training and development will be provided to help you achieve your very best in customer service and primary health care.
