GenesisCare Cardiology is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our practice on a part time basis working 4 days per week. The position will be based at our Shenton House, Joondalup rooms
Your key responsibilities will include
- Acting as the first point of contact to patients, greeting patients upon arrival and accurately processing relevant paperwork
- Managing a large volume of telephone enquiries
- Booking appointments and providing relevant procedural information
- Billing and receipting patient accounts
- Document scanning
- Running visiting specialist’s clinics
- Reconciling daily banking
The position requires:
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking medical reception responsibilities
- Exceptional phone manner and demonstrated competency in handling a range of patient enquiries
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a high level of quality and professionalism
- Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to efficiently work as an effective member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to work independently
- Experience in Billing/Receipting medical accounts, Medicare and DVA billing is essential
We are looking for someone with the ability to work independently and as part of a team and the flexibility to respond to fluctuating work flows with the availability to cover extra days if required.
