About The Role
The Child Health Speech Pathologist works as a part of IPC Health's Child Health Services in close collaboration with Child Occupational Therapy, Developmental Psychology and Audiology services, within the larger Allied Health Services team. The role involves providing dynamic and highly integrated assessment, treatment and management services to pre-school aged children with communication difficulties. The incumbent will work within the context of a family centered and social model of health. Client care is managed via individual and shared clinics and occasional community visits. The role requires a high level of skill in effective time-management, interpersonal relationships, and collaborative team work. The successful applicant will be well supported by a senior clinician. The successful applicant must be eligible for membership with Speech Pathology Australia and have a valid Working with Children Check.
This role is classified under the Victorian Stand Alone Community Health Centres, Health Professionals Multi-Employer Agreement 2012-2016.
