We are a group of radiology practices with highly motivated Radiologists whom focus on providing the highest levels of diagnostic medical imaging available. An opportunity has become available within our centralised workers compensation team for a Workers Compensation Assistant. As the Workers Compensation Assistant you will be based in our busiest practice in Norwest. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- managing all daily operations of the workers compensation department and liaising with our various clinics
- overseeing the creation of invoices and billings, scheduling of appointments and interactions with insurance companies, lawyers, patients and employers for preapproval and claim details
- all accounts receivable functions, primarily for our workers compensation department
- regular review of outstanding accounts receivables and following up on ageing debts
- reporting to management when required
- ad hoc administrative duties when required
Comprehensive radiology work experience is required, preferably having managed a team previously in an office manager position. To be considered for the position it is essential that you have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, multi-tasking skills and attention to detail. Sound knowledge of WorkCover, Medicare and private billing is needed. Proficiency with the Office suite of products, including Excel, are a must. You will have proven ability to work autonomously and in a team environment. In-house training on our processes and software will be provided. To be eligible, you must be a permanent resident.
