Albury Wodonga Health is seeking a Provisional Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetics with an interest in anaesthetics in a regional setting to join our anaesthetic team in providing quality care to patients for the 2018 Clinical Year.
Our anaesthetic service supports a large, regional perioperative unit located over two sites with eight operating theatres including a busy endoscopy suite, and covers trauma, emergency and elective surgery, preadmissions clinic and acute pain service. The department has an established role in post graduate teaching with four accredited anaesthetic registrar training posts and is a busy regional referral hospital with two campuses situated in Albury and Wodonga.
Albury Wodonga Health performs approximately 14,000 surgical procedures per year. The health service has a busy intensive care unit with an excellent MET team operating and a significant amount of trauma.
Albury Wodonga Health delivers services in general surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatric surgery, urology, orthopaedics, endoscopy, acute pain, radiology, ECT, and facio-maxillary surgery.
Successful applicants will be required to complete appropriate paperwork for AWH to meet its credentialing obligations.
