About the role

As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will play a critical role in assessing and providing nursing services to clients in Adelaide with acute and chronic clinical needs of all ages and cultural groups, including individuals, families and communities aswell as providing Palliative care to clients in their homes and in the community.

  

The role will see you promoting and maintaining health and prevention of illness for individuals with physical or mental illness, disabilities and/or rehabilitation needs, as well as alleviation of pain and suffering at the end stage of life. RN's assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and our multidisciplinary health care team to achieve the goals and health outcomes for all our clients.

 

Commencement of these roles will be in late June to early July with potential for additional opportunities in the following months as this new program continues to grow. Candidates will need flexible availability to work shifts across 24 hours a day.

 

What you bring  

  • Current RN certification and registration with APHRA
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
  •  A current valid Driver’s Licence, reliable, insured and registered vehicle and first aid certificate
  • Flexible availability
  • Strong time management, organisational  and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Passionate about making a difference in the lives of our clients

Candidates with community experience will be highly regarded.
