Peninsula Private Hospital is located in Frankston and is the largest and most acute private hospital on the Mornington Peninsula. We are an easy 20-30 minutes drive from the eastern suburbs and 50 minutes from metropolitan Melbourne via the East Link / Peninsula Link freeway.
We are currently seeking Registered Nurses who have completed post graduate studies in Critical Care to appoint to positions in our Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit and to our Cardiac Services Unit. Ideal candidates will have a passion for nursing critically unwell patients, a love of education and will enjoy working in a busy environment caring for patients with a variety of cardiac medical and surgical conditions. Successful applicants will have an opportunity to participate in various internal development programs.
Essential Selection Criteria
- Registered Nurse with a Post Graduate qualification in Critical Care or similar.
- Recent clinical experience working in acute critical care services - ICU, Emergency or Cardiac Unit
- Proven ability to establish effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Evidence that demonstrates strategic thinking
- Ability to apply research findings to clinical practice
- Demonstrated personal commitment to ongoing learning
- Sound computer skills in MS Office suite including Excel
