Located 16 km's north of the Sydney CBD, the Ku-ring-gai area covers 84km2 , is home to 124,000 residents and set in one of New South Wales' most attractive natural environments.
Council is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the role of Team Leader - Facilities Support.
Reporting to the Building Trades Supervisor, your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Meeting room set up, cleaning and pack down
- Assistance with catering and audio visual set up and pack down
- General cleaning and Building maintenance
- Ensuring compliance with Council policies and procedures
To be considered for this role you will require experience in maintenance, cleaning and function/meeting room set up. You will also require a current St Johns First Aid Certificate, Class C Drivers Licence, WHS White Card and sound understanding of Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
Knowledge of local government legislation and polices would be desirable, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders - both internal and external. Experience with working to deadlines and service levels and responding in a timely and courteous manner is essential.
