Kelly Services is recruiting for a Senior Manager People Partners for one of our government client based in Sydney CBD to work on a 6 months contract. The successful candidate will work with the Senior Leadership Team of their business to drive people initiatives to deliver required business objectives. You will also be supporting client portfolios and maintain service levels to meet critical business deliverables whilst managing a team.
Key accountabilities
• Build and maintain highly credible and respected relationships with the business leadership team to develop an understanding of their key organisation priorities and capabilities as well as gain commitment to implement people initiatives and projects
• Provide team with strategic and tactical advice, support and solutions on people matters to ensure organisational capability and leadership capability is built
• Drive the implementation of people initiatives and projects within the business
• Effectively manage the impact of transformational change through utilising change processes and developing mitigation strategies
• Identify and quantify significant current and future people capability issues and develop strategies
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
• Provide routine and ad-hoc reports and advice to senior management to ensure informed business
decisions are made regarding planning and resource allocation
Key requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role working for the public sector
- Ability to provide a business with strategic and tactical advice to work with people
- Develop and maintain effective relationships to facilitate outcomes
- Actively promote change processes to staff and participate in the communication of change initiatives across the organisation
- Provide guidance, coaching and direction to others managing uncertainty and change
- Excellent communication skills
