Assist with the development and implementation of mental health programs
Your new company
This large government department is currently going through a transformation to improve the mental and social health of our noble Australian citizens. The aim is to review and redesign programs in line with modern technology and the external environment.
Your new role
In this role, the successful applicant will be required to develop monitor and evaluate programs as well as:
- Manage and oversee contacts and projects that align with the departments strategy
- Prepare reports, minutes, briefs, Ministerial responses and provide input into parliamentary briefs and documentation
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the program aligns with the agenda and strategy
- Work in a small team and provide support in a supervisor capacity to develop the other members in the team
What you'll need to succeed
Prior experience in a similar project position as well as:
- Demonstrated project support skills and project management qualifications
- Demonstrated experience engaging with project stakeholders across multiple organisations
- Ability to work under pressure and to be able to work to deadlines
- Strong stakeholder relationship, negotiation and written communications skills
- Ability to prepare and contribute to briefings, reporting, presentations, research and evaluation work
