About You
The successful candidate will possess a Degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management or related degree OR equivalent experience in Civil Engineering and Project Management. In addition, they will possess:
- Experience in project management, including scheduling, budgeting and construction of infrastructure and quality assurance;
- Demonstrated experience in drawing and technical specification review;
- Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge and experience in Work Health and Safety, including supervision of contract staff;
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage, deliver results and manage the budget within defined timelines and targets;
- Demonstrated knowledge in the development of contract documentation including technical specifications, project scheduling techniques, cost estimating and control and tendering processes; and
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and communicate effectively with staff, contractors, residents, community groups, businesses and other local stakeholders.
