Their area of operation extends from Kerang in Victoria to the South Australian border taking in the municipalities of Mildura, Swan Hill, and Gannawarra.
About the role
LMW now has a full-time opportunity for an experienced Manager (Governance & Risk) to join the Mildura team.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, your main responsibility will be to lead and influence the success and development of the Corporation through the management and delivery of high-level expertise, guidance, and advice on corporate governance, risk, legal, business strategy, and planning and procurement.
You will also be responsible for supporting the Board's and Executive governance responsibilities to meet internal and external customer expectations, inclusive of regulatory and legislative obligations.
To be successful in this role, you must hold a tertiary qualification in Law, Management, Business, or equivalent. Candidates will also have demonstrated experience in - and comprehensive understanding of - Governance, Risk, Strategic Planning, and Procurement at a senior level.
