Strategy and Policy, Principal Adviser needed for a long term temporary contract.

Your new company
A leading Local Government organisation, with a focus on quality processes, are looking to boost their output as they review their policy frameworks.

Your new role
Taking existing policy frameworks you will work with members of the senior leadership team and the wider team to coordinate a consistent and effective approach to policy development. You will also work to:

• Establish a rolling review process for strategies, policies, plans and guidelines
• Identify, analyse and report on trends, risks and issues within the organisation
• Work to consistently improve and develop the organisations processes, with a view to maximise output
• Support the facilitation of the organisations planning activities, including annual review of the organisational and business plans

What you'll need to succeed
As an experienced Policy Adviser/Analyst you will have substantial experience and a proven track record in leading business planning, strategy, and policy development. With a focus on whole-of-organisation engagement you will have a demonstrated background in cross business consulting and leading organisational change. Experience in a public sector environment will ensure success in this role.
