• Band 7 Position - Senior Landscape Architect
• Inner West Council - 5km from CBD
• Start ASAP and secure work until the end of 2018

Design & Build are currently seeking a  Senior Landscape Architect to work for a Local Council, five kilometres West of CBD. This is a contract role until the end of 2018.
  
In this role you shall provide specialist expertise in the capital delivery of landscape architectural works in the public realm.  The role requires a demonstrated ability in project delivery and must possess an innovative design rationale, thorough technical documentation skills and comprehensive project management ability.

In addition to capital project delivery, the role requires the ability to produce strategic documents and masterplans that will help guide future works across the City.  The role requires a demonstrated capacity to both lead, and work, within multi-disciplinary teams and a sound understanding of the importance of stakeholder and authority negotiations, and community consultation.
  
Requirements include:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in landscape architecture.
• Minimum 5 years’ post-graduate experience as a landscape architect in either local/state government or private industry.
• Proven experience in the design, delivery and project management of high quality and complex public realm projects.
• Relevant knowledge of local government with a sound understanding of the frameworks in which local government operates.
