- Salary in the range of $108,698 to $116,553 per annum excluding superannuation

In the role of Principal Designer (Civil) you will manage the operational aspects of the delivery of the planning and design projects as components of transport infrastructure projects. You will play a key leadership role in providing advice and direction about the interpretation, application and review of relevant planning and design policies, standards, and guidelines across the range of transport infrastructure planning and design activities undertaken in the Region.
To be considered for the role of Principal Designer (Civil) you will possess:
- Ability to lead a team of designers and support officers and represent the design team at a regional level.
- Capable of providing support and advice on the planning and design processes aligned with the relevant phases of corridor planning, program development, program delivery, and program finalisation.
- Demonstrate effective relations with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address needs, expectations and issues that may affect the successful delivery of projects.
- Highly developed in providing leadership, conceptual thinking and resolution of complex problems to various stakeholders for successful completion of transport infrastructure projects.
- Experience in managing the delivery of a program of planning and design projects through the implementation of best practice to achieve value for money outcomes for transport infrastructure projects.
