An exciting opportunity exists to help transform Council’s approach to waste management and resource recovery, through contributing to the delivery of our new Waste Management Strategy – “Don’t Waste It!”.
The City of Port Phillip is committed to achieving a sustained reduction in waste. Join the team that will be tasked with supporting the community to help achieve this.
Reporting to the Project Director Waste Futures, this role will be responsible for developing and implementing waste and resource recovery projects and education campaigns, to support the delivery of the ‘Don’t Waste It!’ strategy and its associated targets.
You will demonstrate proven experience in the planning, delivery and evaluation of waste management projects, including waste education and behaviour change programs.
You will enjoy working in a busy environment and have the ability to develop a positive rapport and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
