Your new role
Working in the Corporate Services team you will be responsible for:
- Understanding of risk management, including risk matrices/frameworks within a local government context
- Ability to support senior leadership committees
- A thorough understanding of internal audit processes
- Previous experience with insurance processes
- Business continuity plan management experience
- Ability to educate and support staff in relation to risk and insurance
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be competitive for this role you will need the following:
- Qualifications or commensurate experience within risk management
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to interact with executive staff
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage an insurance portfolio
- Experience in business continuity
