About the role
As the Senior Clinical Policy Advisor, you will provide clinical expertise, advice and policy advice in a clinical context to support the review. The role will actively participate in the consultation process, analysing stakeholder feedback about current clinical issues and options for changing existing clinical service models and approaches. You will be required to prepare and deliver authoritative oral and written briefings and evidence-based policy advice for senior and executive management.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Provide authoritative advice to the expert and the team on clinical policy and practice matters relevant to review.
- Actively participate in consultation process to support the review, including supporting the review to engage with key internal and external stakeholders on clinical matters.
- Critically analyse submissions and verbal feedback to the consultation process, particularly in a clinical context.
- Play a leading role in supporting the reviewer to draft a preliminary report
- Provide evidence-based advice to senior and executive management on clinical policy issues relevant to assisted reproductive treatment, informed by an analysis of approaches in other jurisdictions, and the consultation process.
- Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
