The position of Senior Risk Advisor forms a part of the Audit, Risk and Integrity Branch in Ministerial and Portfolio Services Division within the Corporate Services Group.
Corporate Services actively supports Ministers and DEDJTR portfolio groups to create the conditions for sustainable economic development and employment growth. Corporate Services works collaboratively to deliver integrated and operational functions across DEDJTR, leading the development of governance, people, culture, systems and capability. It comprises six divisions - Financial Management, Ministerial and Portfolio Services, People and Workplace Services, Strategic Procurement, Service Centre and Technology Services. Corporate Services deliver service excellence through collaboration with DEDJTR partners, stakeholders and clients.
This position assists with the discharge of the department's risk management function. Reporting to the Assistant Director, Risk and Insurance, the Senior Risk Advisor will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of the department's risk management policy and framework.
The successful applicant will work effectively as a member of a team, enjoy flexible working arrangements and undertake a wide variety of work. Included in this role will be responsibility for liaison and the provision of advice to departmental stakeholders to build risk management capability and ensure understanding of the risk management policy and procedures and the maintenance of associated risk registers.
