What you'll be doing

To provide assistance and support (clinical and administrative) to Allied Health Professionals in the provision of Allied Health services to patients and clients in facilities and communities within the Far West Local Health District.

Skills and Knowledge

  1. Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent qualification OR willingness to undertake and complete training.
  2. Experience working with people with a disability in a health care setting.
  3. Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills with a range of stakeholders.
  4. Ability to follow instruction, for example regarding patient care and safety.
  5. Demonstrated computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and email applications.
  6. Current NSW Driver’s license.
  7. Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities (including the ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required), as delegated by Allied Health Professionals, both supervised and unsupervised.
