We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst within Liquor & Gaming.
A key focus of this role will be supporting the Branch budget through financial analysis, modeling and risk management. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating the statistical data and ensuring the data is accurate and relevant. You will assist in the preparation of budgets and financial models
We are looking for:
- A talented individual with experience in collaborating with other staff in a complex environment to deliver grants within set budgets, frameworks and performance standards
- Ability to discuss and communicate financial concepts and results with the business/branch nonfinance personnel.
- You must have strong verbal and written communication skills and experience in dealing with multiple senior stakeholders
- Expertise in preparing briefing papers, reports, submissions, speeches and presentations
- You work well in a continuously changing environment and manage conflicting demands to deliver on organisational priorities.
- Public sector experience highly regarded
- Deep Accounting experience with an accounting /finance Degree equivalent is preferred
