Due to recent restructure, a new and exciting opportunity in Reserves Maintenance has become available.
The City of Salisbury is recognised as a progressive and innovative Council, particularly renowned for its visionary work, leading the way in environmental initiatives.
Located within Council’s Field Services Division, this position contributes to the high levels of service provided to Salisbury residents through the maintenance of Council’s reserves, sportsgrounds, and landscape environments.
The position is responsible for maintaining Council property consisting of large open space areas including gullies and creek lines.
To be successful in this position you will need an MR licence, extensive experience operating a tractor & slasher combination, be competent in park and landscape maintenance, and possess good written and verbal communication.
Ideally you will also be competent in the use of front deck mowers, chainsaw operations and have trade qualifications in Horticulture (desirable).
A fully functional medical, inclusive of drug testing, will be a requirement of the recruitment and selection process.
