- Temporary full time until 30/06/2023 with a possibilty of an extension
- Salary in the range of $96,475 to $103,931 per annum excluding superannuation
- Total remuneration is up to $118,576 per annum (including Super)

The region is looking for an innovative Senior Officer (Environment) who will provide high level guidance and environmental expertise to enable the region to meet the Department's and the Governments environmental management commitments. You will be expected to have a thorough understanding of requirements of relevant legislation and associated regulations and policies and project manage transport related environmental impacts and opportunities.
To be considered for the role of Senior Officer (Environment) you will possess:
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of requirements of relevant legislation and associated regulations and policies in relation to environmental management.
- Demonstrated experience in providing specialist advice on the scope and direction of project activities with regards to environmental impacts and opportunities.
- Possession of a degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or Natural Resource Management from a recognised tertiary institution or equivalent qualification is a mandatory requirement of this role.
- Possession of a Class C driver's licence is a mandatory requirement of this role.
