Business Analyst Support Officer APS4/5

• Initial 9 month contract with possible extension options 
• 2 positions available 
• Located in West Sydney 

Our Federal Government client is seeking two experienced Business Analyst Support Officer's APS4/5 for an initial 9 month contract with possible extension options. The Business Analyst will use business analysis and communication skills to develop requirements, analysis, process and system documentation to support delivery of a number of data and analytics initiatives.

Your new role:

• Research and analyse problems, issues and ideas to contribute to the design of practical solutions and processes 
• Plan, organise and lead the activities of team members, engaged in business systems and/or process design 
• Engage with stakeholders on unique, complex and/or sensitive issues in order to provide or obtain information on solution requirements and design
• Apply established methodologies and tools to understand, analyse and document business processes and requirements in line with technical, administrative or policy constraints
• Guide discussions that identify approaches to resolve problems using while providing input using professional knowledge and experience as well as identify and help develop ideas, analyse alternative courses of action and their implications
• Document IT Business Process Analysis/Design

Ideally, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience in end to end system testing, developing test cases, involving users and documenting outcomes
• Outstanding communication skills and client focus
• Exceptional business analysis skills and experience in delivering artefacts to support the development of successful client centered solutions in a team environment
• A demonstrated commitment to self-development, accountability and skills transfer. 
• The ability to gain and maintain baseline clearance
