This role is situated in a highly visible State Government Department that employs thousands of staff with a wide range of responsibilities and skill sets in order to ensure that it operates effectively and efficiently.

Your role is to deliver high quality service to this state government department within a high volume, fast paced and customer focused environment.
 
Reporting to the Manager for Quality and Risk, this contract will be a high-level administration and coordination role, with an emphasis on attention to detail, excellent communication skills and risk focused -managing sensitive information.
 
 
Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement and/or maintain risk management standards for project management
• Review, monitor and maintain risk documents
• Provide general advice to the branch and staff on risk management and ensure key stakeholders are kept up to date and informed regarding company's risk.
• Contribute by developing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and working collaboratively with peers
• Gather, organise and document information from various sources

 
 
Key skills and challenges:

• Demonstrated ability to understand and consistently apply defined procedure and governing rules to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Understanding of Privacy and the Protection of Personal Information
• Ability to prioritise work in accordance with given directions
• Ability to build good working relationships
• Strong communicator, both verbal and written with business and technical audiences
