About the role
This is an exciting role within the Major Projects and Planning Unit, and involves facilitating and managing major resource and transport infrastructure projects across Victoria. It requires technical excellence and dedicated project management during the planning, approvals, design and construction stages.
Experience in environmental approvals under the Environmental Effects Act 1978 is desirable; together with technical expertise in environmental impact assessment and environmental management in major infrastructure, and mining and resource projects.
This role requires leadership and is a critical interface into government and privately-owned businesses involved with strategic infrastructure and earth recourses initiatives. Excellent communication skills, stakeholder relationship management and knowledge of major project delivery models are essential.
