Our Governance department are currently looking for Governance Officer to join their team providing governance services to Council and Councillors
- Salary from $82,599 per annum (Band 6), plus superannuation
- Permanent Full Time
- Fortnightly RDO available
What you’ll bring to our team
- Provide support and guidance on legislation and good governance principles to councillors, the executive and other leaders
- Review and monitor council’s overall legislative compliance including the annual audit of the organisation’s legislative compliance
- Be the system owner for the Council’s agenda and minutes system, which will involve training and supporting officers across the organisation in the use of the system
- Coordinate and support Council, Council Forum and Council Special Committee Meetings through the preparation, production and timely distribution of the agenda and other required documentation
