Your new company
This Victorian Stage government department with a strong pipeline of work require an experienced Senior Procurement Officer to service multiple projects and provide an advisory piece to the agency's senior executives and project owners on best practices.
Your new role
As the senior procurement officer, you will be responsible for engaging with suppliers and managing multiple end-to-end procurement activities for various projects, strategies and initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to have Victorian State Government procurement experience and the ability to demonstrate your value to the agency and wider department's senior leadership team. Your experience in developing procurement funding documentation and identifying SOWs including specs is vital. You will regularly rely upon the Victorian Government Purchasing Board procurement guidelines for all related activities.
Procurement specialists used to working with tight deadlines across multiple projects will thrive in this role. Additionally you will demonstrate knowledge and expertise in contract management, stakeholder management and project management in the very least.
