An exciting opportunity exists for Registered Nurse's to lead and deliver person centred nursing care within a dynamic health environment based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia - Registered Nurse Standards of Practice.

The Sunshine Coast Hospital Health Service Casual Nursing Pool provides replacement of staff for emergent leave and temporary contracts to replace long term leave.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Assume responsibility and accountability for own actions and acts to rectify unsafe nursing practice and/or unprofessional conduct, whilst providing appropriate delegation and supervision of nursing care to other Registered Nurses (RNs), Enrolled Nurses (ENs), unregulated care providers and less experienced staff
- Contribute to positive patient outcomes by:
- leading the assessment, planning and evaluating of nursing care in collaboration with the patient and/or their family and the health care team
- adhering to established guidelines, protocols, procedures etc and working within scope of practice
- supporting, maintaining and improving systems that promote patient quality and safety.
Salary rates: $41.74 - $53.54 p.h. (Nurse Grade 5) (several casual positions available, hours as required). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
