About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an APS5 Departmental Officer. This position is located in their busy Adelaide office with an initial 4 month contract with possible extensions.
  
About the Role 
The successful candidate will work in a team within a program of work. This candidate will report to an EL1 Assistant Director, and work closely with an EL2 Officer and other executive staff. 

Duties

• Initiate and draft email updates for relevant stakeholders
• Organise, draft and circulate agendas and minutes for formal videoconferences and teleconferences
• Oversee and monitor group email and ARC files usage
• Engage with  Lead team members to ensure that platforms are up to date
• Resolve or escalate requests and any issues
• Oversee and regularly update site

Requirements/Skills

• Independence and decision-making
• Ability to communicate information accurately, concisely and professionally
• Ability to analyse a diverse range of information
• Sound knowledge of Disability, Mental Health, NDIS Transition and Carers programs and policy objectives
• Basic Knowledge of CRM, ARC, Sharepoint and other relevant MS Office programs
• Basic knowledge of FOFMS and the HSP System
