Project Officer APS6/EL1

• 6 month non-ongoing contract 
• Immediate start 
• South side location 

Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced Project Officer APS6/EL1 for an immediate start 6 month non-ongoing opportunity. 

Your new role:

• Monitor progress and manage implementation of the evaluations under the Department's plan 
• Contribute to the design and development of the evaluations
• Assisting in the development, clearance and delivery of high quality survey instruments and other evaluation documentation
• Manage contracts/grants of evaluators
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders 
• Manage secretariat responsibilities, including maintaining lists and records of decisions and support for executives in the team.
• Support core policy responsibilities with research, administrative support and analysis of issues as required by executives 
• Respond to briefing requests and providing policy advice for senior management

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous APS experience in a similar role 
• Strong evaluation development, analysis and research skills 
• Experience in project management and management of grants and contracts with service providers
• High quality communication skills (i.e. developing briefs, minutes and reports)
• Baseline security clearance essential
