Experienced Planning Compliance Officers required in the Planning Department at this Local Council.
Your new company
Based in the SE Suburbs of Melbourne, this Local Council are passionate about the future of their city and the people who are part of it. Accessible by car and public transport, this Council are currently experiencing extremely busy times within their planning department.
Your new role
This Local Council require an experienced Planning Enforcement Officer with top customer service and computer skills to join the team in this temporary role. Your day to day tasks will include but not limited to:
- investigating breaches of the Planning Scheme and Planning Permits
- visiting and assessing sites to ensure compliance is being adhered to
- sending follow-up correspondence to owners and proprietors
- administrative duties
What you'll need to succeed
This highly skilled enforcement role will require you to have previous and relevant experience working for a Local Council in a planning compliance role. You must also have a valid drivers licence and happy to undergo a police and WWC check.
Please note: only applicants who have previously worked as a Planning Enforcement Officer will be shortlisted and considered.
