The Stakeholder Engagement Manager will lead communications and stakeholder engagement, including the provision of high quality and responsive information for clients, and develops approaches to engagement, collaboration and innovation creating improved value for the media campaign.
Specific aspects of the role role will include;
-Advise senior executives on customer and stakeholder engagement status, strategies and emerging issues to support the strategic decision processes and major or critical issue response.
- Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic, tactical and operational stakeholder engagement plans, programs, projects and initiatives
- Plan and lead the implementation of integrated stakeholder engagement programs and initiatives to improve and enhance the perceptions and experiences of clients and communities
- Lead specific stakeholder outreach initiatives, dialogue and other forms of engagement to understand key concerns and issues and inform review and enhancement of services and service delivery
- Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships to exchange information with client groups, community, other levels of government and other stakeholders to inform strategic and operational decisions related to programs and services
One of the key challenges of this ole will be applying innovative and diverse communication channels including the proactive adoption of digital and social media opportunities.
Successful candidates will have formal qualifications in marketing or ideally communications and demonstrated experience in successful improvement of stakeholder engagement within a large, highly sensitive (ideally government) campaign.
