Duties:-

• Responding to phone calls and emails about exempt and complying development policy. 
• Provide advice to external stakeholders in relation to exempt and complying development under the NSW planning system.
• Provide advice and support on policies and procedures and undertake components of project activities. 
• Assist in the preparation of high quality written advice in the form of correspondence, reports, briefs, policy, discussion papers or circulars to inform or respond to requests. 
• Liaise with key stakeholders to communicate their position, objectives, and priorities. 

  Essential Requirement: -

• Requires a good understanding of the NSW planning system and planning legislation and excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Requires experience in town planning or in a related area. 
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in town planning. 

To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated experience, in the Essential Requirement and Experience Required. Must have a high level of verbal and written communication skills and be confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
