Full-time Project Manager/Pricing Specialist position available in Brisbane CBD, 2 year contract.
Your new company
This Government-funded organisation in the energy sector is searching for a Project Manager with pricing review experience to join their team on a 2 year fixed-term contract.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will project manage this organisation’s submission for price review at a high standard and within the required framework. This will include creating a scope of required activities, preparing budgets and schedules for completion, tracking progress against the project plan, overseeing preparation of plans and reporting to the Project Group. You will also engage and liaise with the review panel to understand and address the requirements of the submission. Alongside this, you will be the custodian of the organisation’s price model to provide transparency in costs and prices when consulting with other customers and on new pricing arrangements. You will provide strategic economic and financial analysis, recommendations, support and advice to deliver an optimal cost recovery position for the organisation, as well as use several cost comparison methods to enable demonstration of the business’ efficiency in operating and capital costs.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have direct experience in project management, regulatory pricing reviews with regards to principles and strategies for optimal pricing and subsidy outcomes, preferably in the water or broader energy sector. You will hold tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Economics or another related field and have significant professional experience. You will have experience with submissions, contracts or tenders, as well as strong interpersonal management and communication skills.
