Contract Administration Officer - Project Delivery | Local Government

Design & Build is currently working in partnership with a Metro Melbourne Local Council who are seeking an experienced Contract Administration Officer to join them on an initial short term contract. 

Contributing as part of the Project Delivery team, the successful candidate will be required to support the contract management of Major Building and Civil Projects.
  
Duties will include but not limited to:
• Contract administration of a diverse portfolio of major works including; recreational centre development worth $23million & Major streetscape works
• Liaising with key stakeholders both internal and external
• Full spectrum of contract administration
• Management of requests of information
• Processing of pay variations
• Monitor projects and make preliminary and progress assessments of projects and contract compliance
 
Requirements include:
• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering is highly desirable
• Proven Contract administration experience ideally within Building or Civil project delivery
• Developed skills in stakeholder management
• Understanding of technical and engineering knowledge
• Strong understanding of Local Government policies and procedures
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
