We have an opportunity to join our team in the role of Verification and Validation Engineer (Embedded Systems and Software). The position is offered on a full-time, 12 month fixed-term basis (with possibility of extension).

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Degree qualified in an electronics, software, or embedded systems discipline;
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
• Experience in V&V testing techniques and methodologies;
• V&V experience within a defence framework;
• Experience in developing procedures and tools for testing embedded systems and software to ensure quality and reliability;
• Software lifecycle management experience
• Experience in developing detailed scope of works for defining new project outcomes;
• Good communication skills;
• Ability to work as part of a team or on an individual basis as requirements dictate.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Electronics and firmware design experience;
• Experience designing electrical and electronic underwater robotic systems;
• Software development experience;
• Familiar with circuit board design software, such as Altium Designer or equivalent;
• Oil and gas industry experience.
